About Dr. Polansky
Dr. Polansky received his medical diploma from Charles University in Prague, the Czech Republic, in 1978. During his medical school OB/GYN rotation, he saw a baby being born for the first time and decided on the spot that he would become an obstetrician and gynecologist.
A couple of years later, shortly into his OB/GYN residency at Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO, he made the decision to sub-specialize in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI).
He graduated from his REI fellowship at Stanford University in 1985. It was during this fellowship that, together with Dr. Emmet Lamb, he co-founded the Stanford IVF Clinic. He stayed on as a staff physician specializing in advanced reproductive treatments for two years.
Dr. Polansky was board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1986 and REI subspecialty board certified in 1988.
In 1987, he left Stanford University and founded Nova IVF providing advanced infertility treatments as Medical Director until 2011. In the spring of 2011, he established Bay IVF where he continues to provide state-of-the-art advanced reproductive treatments with a holistic approach.
He is devoted to his patients, will freely share his cell phone number, and can be contacted 24/7.
He loves the reproductive care he can provide to his patients and continuously works to develop and implement new reproductive treatments.
Dr. Polansky believes in and lives by the nutritional and lifestyle standards that he also recommends for his patients to optimize the likelihood of a successful treatment outcome.
You will find him very approachable and always ready to extend a helping hand.
